- spatiul portbagajului foarte mare

AutoTrader Reveals Its Top 10 Most Searched Cars For 2017

http://www.carscoops.com/2017/12/autotrade...op-10-most.html

Britain's largest online marketplace for new and used cars, AutoTrader, has revealed the 10 most searched cars this year.

Retaining the number 1 position in the United Kingdom is the BMW 3-Series, which was favored by most internet users with a diesel powertrain, followed by the Volkswagen Golf and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Ford's Focus comes in 4th place, whereas BMW follows it from the 5th and 6th positions with the 1-Series and 5-Series, respectively. Another Ford, this time the Fiesta, sits on the 7th spot, right in front of the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and the Vauhxall/Opel Astra completes the Top 10 list.

The diesel searches were topped by the BMW 3-Series, Volkswagen Golf, and BMW 5-Series, whereas the most favored petrol powered cars were the Volkswagen Golf, BMW 3-Series, and Ford Focus.

For hybrids, Toyota holds on to the first two positions with the Auris and Prius, followed by the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, while the electric 'crown' goes to the Nissan Leaf, which turned out to be more popular than the BMW i3 and Mercedes-Benz B-Class.

"The results show that British car buyers are very keen on spoiling themselves, with premium manufacturers featuring very heavily in our list of most searched-for cars", commented AutoTrader's road test editor, Ivan Aistrop.

Mitsubishi Celebrates More Than 100,000 Outlander PHEVs Sold In Europe

https://www.carscoops.com/2018/02/mitsubish...vs-sold-europe/

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has sold over 100,000 units in Europe, claiming the title of the best-selling plug-in hybrid SUV.

The important milestone comes as the Outlander PHEV is being launched in the U.S. market, where Mitsubishi hopes it’ll carry the same sales momentum.

Despite the growing number of automakers adopting the plug-in hybrid technology, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is still the only crossover in its segment to offer a PHEV powertrain.

“The Outlander PHEV has been a game-changer for the brand since its launch in the European market, and we’re extremely proud of the industry strides it’s made ever since,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA.

“The new CUV model arrives at a time when Mitsubishi continues to ride its recent sales momentum as the fastest growing non-luxury brand in the U.S. in 2017”, Swearingen added.

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV’s powertrain combines a 2.0-liter petrol engine with two electric motors mounted on each axle. The combined output is rated at 195hp, with the floor-mounted battery pack having a 12kWh capacity. The plug-in hybrid SUV also comes with Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system and DC Fast Charging capability as standard.

Prices for the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in the US market starts from $35,535.
