Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV se laudă cu un start frumos de carieră ?n Europa




?n luna octombrie 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV ? versiunea plug-in hybrid a SUV-ului Outlander ? se lansa pe piaţa din Europa, iar niponii declarau că ?şi pun speranţe extrem de mari ?n noul lor model pentru recucerirea pieţei europene. Atunci, ?n luna octombrie, Mitsubishi anunţa că are deja 10,000 de comenzi pentru noul său model, fapt care ar fi trebuit să-i asigure un start excelent de carieră.

Modelul s-a lansat iniţial ?n c?teva ţări europene mai ospitaliere cu modelele
electrice, precum Olanda, Suedia, Norvegia şi Elveţia. P?nă la sf?rşitul anului, numărul total al comenzilor a depăşit pragul de 12,000 de unităţi. Mitsubishi a reuşit să onoreze 8,197 de unităţi, majoritatea copleşitoare a acestora revenind, ?nsă, Olandei ? prima ţară ?n care Outlander PHEV s-a lansat. Mai exact, 8,009 unităţi au fost cumpărate de olandezi.
Mitsubishi Motors estimează un volum anual global de 30,000 de unităţi livrate pentru Outlander PHEV, Europa urm?nd a fi cea mai mare piaţă a modelului. Totuşi, niponii sunt pregătiţi să sporească producţia p?nă la 50,000 unităţi anual dacă cererea va depăşi estimările iniţiale.

In Romania exista sase milioane de vehicule motorizate, din care 4,7 milioane sunt autoturisme, iar 600.000 sunt utilitare, arata cele mai noi date ale Directiei Regim Permise de Conducere si Inmatriculare a Vehiculelor (DRPCIV). Care e proportia diesel-benzina, cat de vechi sunt masinile si cum sunt reprezentate cele mai cunoscute marci, puteti citi in articol.


Parcul auto national avea la 31 decembrie 2013 un total de 5,98 milioane de vehicule, din care aproape 180.000 au sub doi ani vechime, peste 2,3 milioane au intre doi si zece ani vechime, iar peste doua milioane de vehicule sunt mai vechi de 15 ani.

Datele DRPCIV arata ca, din cele aproape sase milioane de vehicule, 4,69 milioane sunt autoturisme, peste 615.000 sunt utilitare, iar 300.000 sunt remorci si semiremorci.

La autoturisme, 124.000 au sub doi ani vechime, 338.000 au intre doi si cinci ani, iar 2,6 milioane unitati au intre 5 si 15 ani vechime. Peste 1,5 milioane masini sunt mai vechi de 15 ani, din care peste 830.000 de unitati sunt fabricate acum mai bine de doua decenii. In total, circa 60% dintre masini sunt mai vechi de zece ani.

Analizand tipul de combustibil, benzina conduce detasat, cu 3,1 milioane masini fata de 1,6 milioane pe motorina.

Parcul national de autobuze totalizeaza 19.300 de unitati, din care doar 542 sunt mai vechi de doi ani si peste jumatate sunt mai vechi de zece ani.

Din cele 4,7 milioane de autoturisme, peste trei sferturi sunt de la cele mai populare zece marci:

Mitsubishi Mirage G4 will be manufactured in China

The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan will be manufactured in China. Production will start in the second half of this year and it will be launched on the China car market in November. The Mitsubishi Mirage G4, also known as Mitsubishi Attrage, is a subcompact sedan that is currently only built in Thailand.



The China-made Mirage G4 will be manufactured by the Guangzhou-Mitsubishi joint venture. Power will come from a ?3092A? 1.2-liter three-cylinder with 77hp and 100nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Price will start around 60.000 yuan and end around 80.000 yuan. The Mirage G4 will compete with cars like the Chevrolet Sail and Hyundai Rena.

Mitsubishi Motors' long-time president to step aside: sources

(Reuters) - Mitsubishi Motors Corp (7211.T) will appoint Managing Director Tetsuro Aikawa to replace Osamu Masuko as president, while Masuko, who has led the automaker for the past nine years, will become chairman after stepping aside, sources close to the matter said on Friday.

The new structure will take effect on April 1, the sources said, declining to be identified because the decision is not public. Chairman Takashi Nishioka will resign, they said.

The management changes would come as Japan's second-tier automaker seeks to leave behind an arduous decade of slumping sales and a tenuous capital structure that had threatened its standing in the increasingly competitive global auto industry.

Mitsubishi Motors this month raised more than $2 billion mainly to buy back preferred shares issued to sister companies in the Mitsubishi group, which funded the automaker's bailout after a failed capital alliance with then-DaimlerChrysler and a debilitating recall cover-up scandal.

Mitsubishi Motors said in a statement that no decision had been made regarding any changes at the top. The planned management reshuffle was first reported in the Nikkei business daily on Friday.

Aikawa will be faced with the task of putting the car maker on a growth track by relying on operational tie-ups to save costs and make up for its lack of scale.

The maker of the Pajero and Outlander SUVs last year announced a potentially wide-ranging project-based alliance with Nissan Motor Co (7201.T) and Renault SA RENA.SA that would allow it to tap the Franco-Japanese group's resources to develop cars jointly.

Aikawa, a 35-year veteran of Mitsubishi Motors, hails from an engineering background with expertise in product development and manufacturing. His father is a former president and chairman of the car maker's top shareholder, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd (7011.T), earning him the moniker "Prince" within the Mitsubishi conglomerate.

Masuko, 64, has won wide respect among investors since arriving in 2005 from trading house affiliate Mitsubishi Corp (8058.T) with the seemingly herculean task of reviving the battered carmaker.

Mitsubishi roars into the New Year with a 56% increase in December

Cypress, CA ? Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) today reported December sales of 6,423, up 56.2 percent compared to December 2012. Mitsubishi sales were up 7.7 percent for the year.

The U.S.-built Outlander Sport led the way with 2,358 units sold, an increase of 33.2 percent for the month compared to prior year sales.

Sales of the all-new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander were 1,289 units, a year-over-year gain of 102.0 percent.

The all-new Mitsubishi Mirage had 1,388 units sold in the vehicle?s second full month of sales, an increase of nearly 32 percent from its first full month in November 2013.

More highlights of December sales:

This marks the first back-to-back months of more than 6,000 sales for Mitsubishi since July/August 2011.
December saw Mitsubishi?s highest monthly sales total since March 2012.
December was Outlander Sport?s third best-ever month since its introduction in 2010. Outlander Sport sales were up almost 38 percent for the year.
This marked Outlander?s best December of sales since 2006. Outlander sales were up 58.5 percent for the year.
Lancer sales were up 13.7 percent in December and 22.7 percent for the year.
Lancer Evolution sales increased 2.1 percent in calendar-year 2013 compared to 2012.
Sales of the all-electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV were up 75.0 percent in 2013 compared to 2012.
